You obviously know nothing about electronics or even Ohms law.
LOL, you are so fucking stoopid chimp.
I have to go with jimp on this one. You know nothing.
Is not about Ohm's law and proper resistors here. Internal Resistance is
something else. Idiot. You may EVALUATE a lower "Thévenin resistance
R_th"
equivalent, by connecting the elements in parallel, but the Internal
Resistance for each element is still IN there, untouched, or now, even
higher. This because inherently even same size/areal elements exhibits
slightly DIFFERENT characteristics (static/dynamic) and values for their
Internal Resistance.
Thus a reverse current will dissipate Energy taken from one element into
anther. A reverse current into a Internal Resistor is not good, gives
heat and INCREASE the said Internal Resistance even more.

Internal losses don't depend on series or parallel connections. You are
quite ignorant. Take time off from high school today? Thevenin's
equivalent does not apply here. Ignorant moron.
<snip babbling gibberish>
Babbling gibberish doesn't begin to describe the egotistical nonsense.
Is English not your native language or are you on drugs?
What word or phrase gave you problems, Idiot. Is gramma bothering you
now chimp :). You want me do you gramma? Admit your defeat, be a man. I
don't wanna talk to you anymore. Waste of time and bandwidth
Obviously it's drugs. Are you so starved for attention you have to come
here and do your loud-mouth crazy act to get noticed?

That is why you are talking with him in alt.morons :)
Cute Beuller! Get back to class.

No? :) LOL, I am surrounded by morons. Did you ever asked yourself why
you never see batteries connected in parallel in whatever devices are
used. Imbecile. Now you have the proof. LOL
What you mean to say is your are surrounded by people who are not at your
level if intelligence. That is certainly true.

Never heard of a hybrid or electric car I take it? As jimp says, you know
nothing. That's why everyone around you don't seem to make any sense to
you. You aren't capable of understanding anything they tell you. Thanks
for the "proof" I'll "file" it.

You get +5 points from me as well, for the artistic view:)
Meanwhile you remain stupid like a stone, no given proofs ever may
please you :)
Arrogant loud-mouth bluster may work selling used cars, but not here.

You just had your ass handed to you over the parallel battery stupidity
and yet you pretend that you are smart and everyone else is ignorant. Who
are you trying to fool? Yourself? I guess that part is working.

Genie is just one more loud-mouth know-nothing in the group. He's just
waiting for engineering to catch up with what has already been
discovered in maths. Hard to believe but his knowledge of solar cells
is actually LESS that Wormley's! I should have known that was
discovered in the maths before we did. He obviously hasn't a clue how
solar cells actually work or what the problems with them are.
Another wellknown imbecile. They always walk in pairs, or pairs of three
and more :) Read this, can you do it?

Hey Beuller, can you read? You sure don't write English very well. They
don't much teach readin' and ritin" in high school anymore, do they? Do
you do "cursive"?

If you were intelligent enough and educated enough to read the datasheet
you linked to you'd know that taking an efficient solar cell and hooking
it to a 30% -50% efficient switching converter [Note the lies of 90% in
specs hype while NONE of the curves reach 90% best case]. Yeah, that will
really give you some increased solar cell energy output...into heat.

Jimp wins the round. You know nothing about electronics or electricity.
Go back to high school, Beuller.

As I understood it was about yours and jimp's incompetency in simple
circuitry analysis.
Also, where exactly in that given datasheet stays the efficiency of a
solar cell? The chip does not care about the cell's efficiency. Are you
crazy? Really crazy?
Read this
http://cleantechnica.com/2013/08/06/ja-solar-attains-18-3-
multicrystalline-solar-cell-efficiency-record/
You just gave another proof that you are an idiot.
You know what none of this means, Beuller. But here's something down at
your level. 18% efficiency of multicrystalline solar cell run into a 50%
efficient switching converter give you a nice fat 9% efficiency with
which to save the world.

Can you spell moron? I didn't think so.

DC is ideal for long distant transmission since reactance is zero.
DC-DC conversion is no longer the problem it once was with modern Power
semiconductor devices which can tackle 1000s of amps.
This is blatantly not true. Reactance includes the IMAGINARY part, thus
the Energy loose only occurs in a impedance mismatch situation.
The problem is the REAL part due to the loose through the transport
lines.
Remember Tesla won the battle, Edison lost. If not, check it out to find
out why.
Jimp is still right you haven't a clue about electronics or electricity.

Ignorant moron. You need to keep up on progress since 1890.
