Einstein wasn't an atheist

None of this makes a scrap of difference to physics and relativity. Stop
posting your religious clap-trap in physics newsgroups.
Sure, just explain how does physics preclude a creator?

Well it doesn't but it still doesn't change the fact, Einstein WAS an
atheist. Paul Davies is almost as smart as Einstein and he believes in
God. It doesn't mean that God exists.

There's 3 possible platforms:

1 - You take the world for granted
2 - You have an innate ability to see an intelligent design in how things work together
3 - You've witnessed the son of God, and understood such evidence

If Einstein was overly theoretical he may have missed 2 and been a 1.

The discussion had turned to physics in general, not the subject line.

Why would an atheist say : "God doesn't play dice with the universe", and "I
do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with
sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.", and "I
know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He
didn't trust me so much.", and "God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks
in our conscience, but shouts in our pains, it is His megaphone to rouse a
deaf world.", and "I know that the Lord is always on the side of the right.
But it is my constant anxiety and prayer that I and this nation should be on
the Lords side."

Seems like you are mistaken once again.

"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious
convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not
believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have
expressed it clearly."

No my friend, it seems as if you are the one who is mistaken.

No it is YOU who doesn't understand what being an atheist means. It is NOT
the same as an Agnostic. Clearly from all he said, he did NOT exclude the
possible existence of any God just because he didn't actually believe in, or
worship one himself.

Nice parsing but I think it is you who misunderstand the man.

THINK what you like of course, just don't be surprised if most disagree with
you.
