The father was a British citizen. And he wasnt born in the US, by all
accounts.
Read and learn..accounts.
Birth in the United States
A child born on American soil automatically gets U.S. citizenship,
unless the child is born to a foreign government official who is in
the United States as a recognized diplomat. Children born in certain
U.S. territories -- Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam -- may
also acquire U.S. citizenship. For details, see Title 8 of the U.S.
Code, available atwww.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode08.

Birth to U.S. Citizen Parents ("Acquisition")
In many circumstances, even though a child is born outside the United
States, if at least one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of the
child's birth, the child automatically "acquires" citizenship. When
this child marries and has children, those children may also acquire
U.S. citizenship at birth.
Sucks to be you and that stupid, doesnt it?

For clarification purposes, can you cite where it says a person born
in the U.S., to a U.S. citizen isn't a "natural Born citizen?" TIA
" He said that the President couldn't be a Natural born citizen due
to his father's nationality. To quote, "So what...
Your statement has nothing to do with the fact that obama is not a
natural born citizen of the USA. His father, a British subject,
prohibits obama from being a natural-born citizen. "
Now, take your time reading this, that question is predicated on the
President being born in HI to a US Citizen and a foreign national. (Of
course if he was born outside the US, which isn't what I was speaking
to, he wouldn't have qualified for citizenship due to the fact his
mother didn't meet the reqmt. of living 5 years in the US after the
age of 14.)
