I rather dislike that PC version. I prefer to sadly think about all
the US service members who lost their lives in this unprovoked

attack,

and then sit and wait for the day their brethren's work made things
right..... VJ day (as RI is the one state that still gets it and
fights the PC silliness)

Absolutely! Anyone who has visited the USS Arizona Memorial will
surely see, first hand, the attack for what it was.

Sorta like what we did to Iraq, huh?

I wish I could say you're right but I'm too stupid to know better. Anyway,
I thought I would post something like this so nobody forgets what an ASSHOLE

yeah we were crushing japan with an economic boycott.

then we dangled a bunch of obsolete battleships as bait.

the japs took it and the rest is history.

ironically the japanese got everything they wanted. out of the war by losing

Let's see...Iraq was no threat to us...they had done nothing to
us...Japan attacked because they were afraid we would attack them
(join the Allies)...sounds pretty much the same to me.
